Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the SEO-for-Lawyers.com.au website and any services provided through it. By using the website, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms take effect on October 23, 2026.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using https://seo-for-lawyers.com.au, you accept these Terms of Service and any terms referred to in them. If you use the website for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. We may apply additional written terms to particular services, and those terms will form part of your agreement with us.
Services
SEO-for-Lawyers.com.au provides search engine optimisation and related digital marketing services for legal practices and other clients. The services, scope, deliverables, fees and timing will depend on the written agreement, proposal or other communication that applies to your engagement. Search results, rankings, traffic and business outcomes depend on factors outside our control, so we do not promise a particular result unless we expressly agree to it in writing.
User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, lawful instructions, suitable access and timely decisions needed for the services. You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and ownership of content, claims, personal information and materials that you provide or ask us to publish. You must review and approve material where we request approval and must tell us promptly about any error or concern.
Intellectual Property
Each party keeps ownership of intellectual property it owned before the services began. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, SEO-for-Lawyers.com.au retains ownership of its methods, processes, templates, tools, reports, know-how and pre-existing materials. Subject to payment of all amounts due, you receive the rights expressly granted in the applicable written agreement for the final materials created specifically for you.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the website or services for an unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or harmful purpose. You must not interfere with the website, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy website content without permission, or infringe another person's rights. You must not ask us to create or publish content that breaches applicable law, professional rules, court orders or a third party's rights.
Website Information and Analytics
Website content is provided for general information and may change without notice. We do not warrant that the website will always be available, error-free or secure, although we will take reasonable steps to maintain it. We may use Yandex Metrika to understand website use and improve the website; further information about personal information handling may appear in our privacy policy.
Fees and Payment
You must pay the fees set out in the applicable proposal, agreement or invoice by the stated due date. If an agreement does not state a payment process, we may pause work where an invoice remains unpaid after we have given reasonable notice. You are responsible for providing complete billing information and for any taxes or third-party costs that the applicable agreement assigns to you.
Liability Limits
To the extent permitted by law, SEO-for-Lawyers.com.au is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill or loss of opportunity arising from your use of the website or services. We are not responsible for matters outside our reasonable control, including search engine changes, third-party platform decisions, internet failures or information supplied by you. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify SEO-for-Lawyers.com.au and its officers, employees and contractors against claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the website or services, or materials and instructions that you provide. This obligation does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss was caused by our unlawful act or negligence. We will give you reasonable notice of a claim where the law permits and will not agree to a settlement that imposes liability on you without your consent.
Termination
Either party may end a service engagement in accordance with the applicable written agreement. We may suspend or end access to the website or services if you breach these terms, fail to pay an amount due, or create a legal, security or operational risk. Ending an engagement does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination, including payment obligations and provisions intended to continue after termination.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applying in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the courts exercising jurisdiction in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and any courts that hear appeals from them. This clause identifies the law relevant to these terms and does not state that SEO-for-Lawyers.com.au operates from a particular office or physical location.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when our services, legal obligations or website practices change. We will publish the updated terms on the website and state a new effective date where appropriate. Your continued use of the website after an update means that you accept the updated terms, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be changed in this way.
